"Announcement" clear phasing out incandescent roadmap is divided into five stages:

November 1, 2011 to 2012 September 30, 2010 for the transition period;

October 1, 2012 ban on the import and sale of 100 watts and above general lighting incandescent;

October 1, 2014 ban on the import and sale of 60 watts and above general lighting incandescent;

October 1, 2015 to 2016 September 30, 2010 mid-term evaluation period;

October 1, 2016, prohibit the importation and sale of 15 watts and above general lighting incandescent or, as the mid-term evaluation results to adjust.

Development and Reform Commission said that through the implementation of the roadmap, will effectively promote the healthy development of China Lighting Industry and to obtain a good energy saving effect is expected to add the Lighting Industry output value of about 80 billion yuan (RMB), about 1.5 additional jobs 000, line adult power saving of 48 billion kwh, a decrease of capacity of 48 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
